CLUB INFORMATION

The Five Lakes Tounament Trail members are primarily fisherman from the Upstate of South Carolina. We fish 5 lakes twice a year: Greenwood, Russell, Clarks Hill, Murray and Hartwell. At the end of the season, we hold an awards banquet where we crown our points champion. We also award prize money to the top twenty in club points. The purse for the 2003 points fund was $8,500.

In 2004 and 2005 we held a member only Club Championship tournament with the weigh in being held at the Greenwood Civic Center. The first place award for this tournament was $5000.00 and prize money awarded to the top ten finishers.

The club also volunteers to help several charity tournaments each year. For the past 3 years, the club managed the weigh-in for the John De La Howe school tournament and the Home Builders Association tournament. In 2002 & 2003, the club also helped with the Bowers-Rogers Home for Abused Children tournament and the Outdoor Challenge fishing tournament held by the Laurens Baptist Association. This year the club has added the Place for Us Ministries and Fuji Film bass tournaments to the list of charity tournaments involved with.
